Epoxy surface preparation
As the first step, the preparation of the surface is a priority for epoxy as with all other coatings. If the concrete has just been poured, you need to apply epoxy coating after waiting for at least 30 days. This detail is very important.
If there are oil stains remaining after the concrete is cleaned with water, these oil stains are cleaned with a concrete cleaner. Epoxy primer application
As a second step, after the repairs made on the floor have dried, the primer application is started, starting from the bottom. When the primer application on the floor is completed, the other stage, the intermediate layer application, is started.
Epoxy undercoat application
The primer coat dries in approximately 8 hours. When the drying process takes place, the intermediate epoxy is prepared. After waiting 24 hours for the intermediate coat application to dry completely, the final coat epoxy stage is started.
Top coat epoxy application
After 24 hours, the floor is ready for a new floor. Non-adhesive flakes are removed with the help of a vacuum cleaner. Afterwards, the floor is completed by applying the top coat of transparent epoxy. Thus, it becomes a ready-to-use ground.
